Not only am I keen about academics and performing arts, I am also passionate about bringing a change in the society. To cater to this, I have actively participated in few of the programs of Government of India and other NGOs.
- I am the founder of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (CLEAN INDIA) Project at a personal level– The purpose of the project is to support our Prime Minister’s efforts to promote hygiene. It is also intended to create awareness about the importance of hygiene. The core concept of this project is to make our country clean by 2019. Under this project, the Government promotes construction of new toilets, cleaning the streets, and sanitation programs in the rural areas.
- I have organized talks and practical learning sessions for promoting hygiene among widows in Vrindavan (small town, in India) and even in RWAs.
- I am a volunteer at Ekal Vidyalaya (NGO) and have worked towards improving sanitation facilities in the rural areas of Rajasthan. I have also imparted primary education to underprivileged children and their families and worked towards safety of rural girls by teaching them the concepts of ‘Good touch and Bad Touch’ through visual aids and practical experiences.
- I volunteered at Health camps on cancer screening in women by Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute.
